Resources for Start-Ups

UT provides several resources to new and growing companies.

  • Participate in the programs hosted at the UT Research Park at Cherokee Farm to access our thriving innovation ecosystem.
  • Apply to join the Spark Innovation Center to locate your company with the university’s research community, and to access our considerable research facilities on the UT Research Park at Cherokee Farm and in other locations.
  • The Anderson Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation provides support to UT entrepreneurs through coaching and mentorship (Entrepreneurs in Residence), educational and experiential programming, pitch competitions and funding opportunities and connection to the broader entrepreneurial ecosystem.
  • The UT Business Incubator supports technology-enabled companies whose products and services are based on UT technology, or who are affiliated with UT researchers, or who are being started by UT students.
  • UT’s Center for Industrial Services helps small businesses improve their economic competitiveness, including helping small businesses compete for SBIR and STTR funding.
  • Join LaunchTN for advice on capital formation, market building and resource connection through LaunchTN’s Network Partners.
